We welcome Anna Hofbauer to FCA-Ghana!
Anna Hofbauer’s residence in Accra from July to September 2024 is partly focused on exchanging ideas with the FCA and its networks about the interests, strategies and particularities of the varying contexts in Accra against the background of her
experiences as co-founder of the non-commercial exhibition space BLACKBRIDGEOFF 空间 in Beijing.
Anna Hofbauer produces sculptural and photographic work. After her studies in stage design and sculpture in Vienna she participated in sculpture symposiums, artist in residence programmes and numerous group and solo exhibitions in Europe and Asia. Anna Hofbauer is co-founder of the exhibition space BLACKBRIDGEOFF 空间, Beijing, where she curated group shows and film programmes from 2010 – 2015, and is based in Vienna, where she holds a teaching position at the University of Applied Arts.
